The pistes in Königsleiten have something to offer for everyone – from blue to black – with a carousel of lifts, including a cable car lift. The pistes are situated around the Königsleitenspitze (2,315 m) and a second group of lifts on the Gerlosplatte which are easily accessible via a ‘ski-aduct’ over the Gerlos Pass.

Königsleiten has 2 ski schools with more than 40 professional instructors. There is a fantastic practice area for children and beginners in the centre of the sunny village. There is also a special children’s area with children’s lifts and pistes.

There are about four sports shops in Königsleiten where you can buy or hire skis, snowboards and other equipment. And if you are looking for a place that provides a maintenance service for your own equipment, look no further. The sports shops listed below are the place to be. In addition, they sell a wide range of trendy winter sportswear and accessories.

Situated on the outskirts of the village is the Kristallbad Wald/Königsleiten. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool with adventure slides and outdoor area, an area for fitness, therapy and wellness, nature sauna and gastronomy. Alternatively, if you love saunas, you could try the sauna at Aparthotel/Restaurant Sterngucker where you can indulge in some serious relaxation. There is also a hairdressing salon at the Sterngucker should you wish to have your hair done.

The highest situated planetarium/observatory in Europe can be found in Königsleiten. A visit to the planetarium is highly recommended.
