zillertal Arena

The Zillertal Arena is one of the largest skiing areas in Austria. As the crow flies, it is almost 20 km long. It connects Zell am Ziller in Tyrol with Königsleiten and Hochkrimml in Salzburgerland.

The pistes in Königsleiten have something to offer for everyone – from blue to black – with a carousel of lifts, including a cable car lift. The pistes are situated around the Königsleitenspitze (2,315 m) and a second group of lifts on the Gerlosplatte which are easily accessible via a ‘ski-aduct’ over the Gerlos Pass. Experienced winter sports enthusiasts can really let their hair down on over 160 km of pistes with 49 lifts.

 

You can now also order your lift passes when you make your booking so that they are ready for collection at the reception desk on the day of your arrival in Königsleiten. There are no administrative charges for this service, all you have to pay is a € 2.00 deposit for the chip card which will be refunded to you when you return the card undamaged to the reception desk or any of the mountain stations in the skiing area. So you can get straight onto the piste!

The Zillertaler Super Lift Pass offers you hands-free admission to all cable car lifts and lifts in the Zillertal Arena. Thanks to the ultimate in modern chip card technology, the lift pass can remain in your pocket at all times. Simply carry the chip card on the left upper part of your body.

Prices winter season 2011 – 2012
This year, the season runs from 03-12-2011 to 15-04-2012. The Zillertaler Super Lift Pass is valid across the entire Zillertal Arena skiing area and on the Hintertux glacier.
