Königsleiten has a lot to offer in the summer and our holiday lets are the perfect base from which to explore the nearby Hohe Tauern National Park on wonderful walks. In addition, there are a wealth of opportunities for (active) days out the entire family can enjoy.

Planetarium
During your stay, why not visit the observatory and highest situated planetarium in Europe, for an introduction to the wonders of the universe? The planetarium has a 7 m diameter dome. Here, you get to see a realistic presentation of the star-spangled sky in all its splendour and glory. Planet walk
The Planet Walk sets out from the observatory in Königsleiten, the outer wall of which has a sundial and information about the sun. The 6 km walk will take you right along mountain slopes, across the old pass, through the valley with plenty of opportunity to take in and enjoy the mountain scenery. At the same time, this walk will really bring the infinity of the cosmos to life. Kristallenbad Wald/ Königsleiten
The swimming pool is open all year round and has an indoor and outdoor pool. A large tunnel slide adds to the fun. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the wonderful sun terraces, beautiful sunbathing areas and the garden. Christkönigskapelle
The “village church of Königsleiten” was built in 1989 on a small hill in the middle of the village. The Christkönigskapelle was dedicated to “Christ the King” and depicts a “suspended Christ” as the Saviour. Pay particular attention to the windows which have been painted with the patron saints of the states of Salzburg and Bavaria. All year round, regular church services are held here such as wedding and other church ceremonies.
